Partnership Values

The Partnership’s mission is to cut hunger and poverty in Africa by promoting sustainable, Africa-led, agriculture-based economic activities in rural and urban Africa. By promoting more and better investments in African agriculture and rural development, we seek to increase overall economic growth, improve food security, and reduce hunger and poverty on the continent.

 
We believe that African development should be led by Africans, and that donor policies and practices should be informed by African priorities and ultimately responsive to African needs.

 
Finally, we believe that sustainable agricultural and economic development must be market-based and supported by the development of private enterprise in Africa.
