The Partnership Secretariat works with the Board of Directors and Advisory Committee members in Washington to raise awareness about the key role of the agricultural/rural sector in accelerating broad-based economic growth. It promotes greater policy and program coherence and coordination among U.S. government agencies, and between U.S. and other development agencies assisting African rural sector development. The Secretariat also coordinates the activities of the Partnership's committees and working groups.
